Meat Meet is a Cars & BBQ showcase by Brakes & Briskets - the ultimate mashup of cars, smoked BBQ, live music, vendors, food trucks, and epic giveaways. A carefully curated selection of vehicles is featured across the grasslands and fields of Hunterdon County.

The Lines
Our optional "BBQ PreCheck" service is highly recommended to eat first and skip the general line. Please refer to the "Meat Meet Details" section on this page for more information.
Lines get long fast—arriving before 12PM is your best bet to skip the wait and snag your favorite BBQ. In past events, top menu items have sold out after 1:30PM.

NJ weather is certainly unpredictable. We are actively monitoring the weather conditions. If rain is on the forecast, we will cancel the event and provide updates.
October 26, 2025 is our final date for the year. Should rain strike again, Meat Meet will resume in 2026.

The Federal Twist Vineyard is located on private property. Please exercise A+ behavior so we may continue to host exciting and delicious events here.
Excessive revving, loud noises, disruptive behavior, failure to comply with staff/venue rules, etc. will result in your removal from the premises and being banned from future events.
Wine is available at the vineyard (21+). We encourage you to tip the staff for their service. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

All sales are final. No refunds or credits for no-shows or unredeemed items, unless the event is canceled or rescheduled.

Open Showcase
ALL vehicle types will be showcased across the vineyard. We have special staging for classics, customs, and 4×4 vehicles.Please note, we cap the number of showcase vehicles to keep the event in line with our creative vision, as well as to ensure safety and smooth event flow for everyone.
Important: Due to uneven ground, extremely low or cambered vehicles cannot be accepted. All participants must be comfortable driving on grass. Our Pit Crew team will assist, but neither Brakes & Briskets nor The Federal Twist Vineyard are liable for any issues.

Vehicle staging will be determined by our team based on our creative direction and logistical needs. By registering, you agree that placement is at our discretion and cannot be requested.
While we aim to include a wide range of vehicles, if we’re unable to accommodate yours, you’ll receive a full refund or credit (valid in-store, online, or at a future event).
Staging Considerations
Veranda showcase: Select standout builds may be featured on the vineyard's covered veranda, chosen for their design or uniqueness.
Classic & Custom-Built: Vintage and custom vehicles will be staged prominently to celebrate craftsmanship and automotive heritage.
Off-Road Vehicles: Overlanders and 4x4s may be placed on terrain that highlights their rugged capabilities.
Low Cars: Due to uneven ground, extremely low or cambered vehicles cannot be accepted. All participants must be comfortable driving on grass. Our Pit Crew team will assist, but neither Brakes & Briskets nor The Federal Twist Vineyard are liable for any issues.
Groups: Group placement is not guaranteed. Every vehicle will be thoughtfully staged to ensure strong visuals and a memorable experience.

For our 2025 season, we’ve partnered up with The Federal Twist Vineyard as our venue for Meat Meet. Nestled between the steep rolling hills of Hunterdon County and the Delaware River, this 70+ acre vineyard takes advantage of the sandy river soil that is conducive for growing vines. Please bring a printed copy of your purchase confirmation to speed up check-in.

We may request ID verification at our discretion.
You’ll be directed to the spectator parking area.
BBQ PreCheck
If you purchased BBQ PreCheck, you’ll receive a wristband at check-in. Please put it on right away. Our team will use it to identify your access throughout the event.
Additional Spectators
Extra spectators beyond your ticket count will be charged at entry.
They will not receive the online-exclusive items.

On the day of Meat Meet, you can identify members of our Pit Crew team by their bright B&B shirts or white safety vests.
They will be positioned at the entrance to greet you and dispersed throughout the fields guiding showcase cars.
Additional Pit Crew members will be under the Brakes & Briskets tent keeping you fed and hydrated.

Raffle tickets can be purchased at any time during Meat Meet up until the drawing. If you are only purchasing raffle tickets, you may proceed directly to the check-in tent.
Prizes include free items and services from our sponsors including Brakes & Briskets catering packages and merchandise.
Raffles are presented around 1:30 PM near the B&B tent. Winners must be present to be eligible for prizes.
